Background of the study: Emotional Intelligence is defined as the capacity of a person to perceive, control and express one's own particular feelings and emotions and additionally to decipher the sentiments of others and keep up the relational association with the family and society. Emotional Intelligence is also important in other human services disciplines. Lack of attention to this learning period of life can cause or intensify mental illness or mental disorders & lead to failure in social & educational performance. Students with low emotional intelligence have a higher risk of developing the mental illness and those who have higher Emotional Intelligence can manage their emotions and stress by using social support system. Research studies also have been proven that Emotional Intelligence is responsible for 58%of your performance.
